You've got some awesome fingernails in that last shot there, craigbru!  I'm impressed you've kept them intact!  :cheese:

I know I have a ton of comments to respond to.. and I will... but I'm pressed for time at the moment.  I owe you guys some pictures though!

It lives!!!

The completely finished interior!

The outside while off.

All it up baby!!

I'll have comments and observations in a little while!  Now I need some caffeine, it was a terribly late night...

Dammmnnnnn!!!

Somone already said it best... I looks like it should be sticking out of the hood on a muscle car!

Craig, that is fantastic. What impresses me most is how compact everthing is. I recently added a 4850 to my QPac. I thought I was going to have to get married and have a kid to get a pair of hands small enough to make all the connections.

Looking forward to your benchmarks (and the plans for your next mod...)

Thanks guys!  I really appreciate it!  As of this morning, the Rogue is boxed up and ready for shipping to Nvision.  I'm also packed up and ready to head to Mexico.  So, you'll not see me around these parts for at least a week.  You guys behave!  ... and mod on!

BTW Ash, after I packed it up this morning, I weighed it...  It's in a wooden box, so that adds a little weight... but it comes in at 103 pounds!!!

Craigs next project will be a custom built case from the ground up with a bullet proof dome in the top. In this clear dome will be - suspended in a glowing red liquid - his own BRAIN!
I look forward to it.

Red is so cliche'. He should make it green.

I await the overclocking report on cerebral matter.

Im just worried about the increased latency from having a wireless connection to your brain. Thats gotta be, what, 400+ ms? thats gonna mess with the hand eye co-ordination.

Awesome work, as always!

What's the next project, Craig? Here are a couple of suggestions:

1. G-Series/P2-Series Shuttle replacement faceplates with LCD touchscreen
Sell to the forumites so we can all have awesome machines with Craigbru magic.

2. Craigbru Ultra-Mobile
Have you seen how small some laptop motherboards are? Some of them even have RAID and SLI. Would love to see your take on a Mac Mini/Shuttle X27 style rig but with some serious POWER.

Thanks for all the responses guys!  Sorry for my delay in getting back to this thread.  The real world has occupied quite a bit of my time lately.

So, to all you guys wondering what the next project will be...  It will be called Duality...

I'm working on the design right now, although a true log is a ways off.  So what's going to be so special about it?  It will be more powerful, yet about half the size of the Rogue.  It will be scratch-built from aluminum and carbon fiber.  Of course it will be watercooled, though no TEC this time (smaller, remember?).  An LCD (or two) is a given, touchscreen this time around.  Why the name Duality?  It's a secret at this point, but it will have two systems in the same case, and pico-itx isn't going to cut it this time.  ;-)

Oh, and if you're wondering about color scheme, the pic below pretty much nails it...

Black/Chrome with Orange accents and green hilights - Craig, these are the exact colors of my current build.
Perchance, your next build wouldnt happen to have a DFI Lanparty Junior in it would it? It would explain our similar color schemes... Tongue

Yeah, smoked nickel and orange is good. But I think the green needs to be limey-er... more lime. Maybe it's just the pic...

Hi all...
Craig veery nice project, you can be proud about it...

well, what kind of cd/dvd drives did you use?
i also call a rogue as my own and want to do some modifications... as you surely know, the rogue only have two 5.25" slots... thats not much... so, i would do something like you, but i need the right drives... i haven't found anything like this yet

thanks
