Hi .. I`m new here so please be gentle !
I`ve just picked up a brand new boxed soltek eq 3801 from a local shop and the only thing missing is the driver disk .....
Yes i know its a old system ,but it came at the right price ...... and i like it ...
Can anyone either sell me or do me copy of there driver disk please for the said model Huh
I have found some drivers on the net that work ok , but i`m unsure as to wether they are the correct ones ?

Also just installed a Radeon HD 2600 pro graphics card and the performance is really poor in the soltek .. Is this due to having a nvidia chipset Huh? ... I think it maybe as the card is pretty new and should proform ok ..

Thanks Tony

Could you post the spec's of your system? That will help with the Radeon HD problem.

The drivers you need should just be the Nforce 3 drivers that you can get from Nvidia's site. An the C-Media CM8768 audio driver.

Hi ... thanks for the reply ..spec below ..

EQ 3801
1.8 Rev Bios
Athlon 3200 64 bit
2 x Samsung 512 mb ram
Seagate 160 Gb HD
Pioneer 110 dvd drive
All pretty standard stuff really ..... Cant see why the Graphics card runs so poor .. unless the card is faulty .....
As anyone run radeon cards in nvidia based SFF before without any trouble ...
Can someone point me in the correct direction for the nforce3 250gb drivers , as there seem to be so many on the net ...

Cheers Tony

The best one's you could get are from Nvidia's website. 5.11 Drivers are the last ones to officially support it. Found http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce3_winxp_5.11.html

What do you class as poor performance btw? An what speed is that ram?

its very poor even has trouble runing benchmarks like aquamark and 3d mark etc ..
I took out a nvidia fx 5900 xt ... and that was better .
