I moved my docs to a larger drive and thats where faxes were stored by default.

The new location didn't have permission to receive faxes so ...where do I find the new fax  I received today?

Using Vista Ultimate 64.

TIA

Check (and be prepared to wade through) the event viewer.

Never used the embedded fax capability myself so would have to do some checking but logically that info should be stored either in the printer cache or under mydocs.  If you're having permissions issues my guess is it's stored under the printer cache.

Come to think of it if you right-click the fax-print device under Printers Folder it should tell you where it stores it's data.  If permissions were denied on this folder then the fax may have been dropped entirely.  Check the temporary folders just incase.  c:\users\username\local settings\temp c:\windows\temp
