i think the best looking models of all time from shuttle has been #1 the k45, and #2 the (hopefully released soon) SN78SH7 I'm going to have to disagree, the best looking model of all time is the SB75S (which is the one I own;)). The second best is the K45. Then the third best would be a tie between the S78SH7 and the G5s. Honorable mentioned would be the M series, because it looks cool without it being a CUBE!!!

So I noticed the "rotate 360" option on Shuttle-Boy's original link on the SN78H7. It looks real nice, a suitable replacement for my G5. But I cant for the life of me see how this case is supposed to fit a Dual-Slot card along with a PCI card at the same time judging from the back of the case... http://www.shuttle.eu/SeeIT/neuheiten/360/html_en/neuheiten_sn78sh7_360_en.html

LOL...good catch Maturin! I agree, there is no way that a dual slot card and a pci card can fit in there unless Shuttle has made a case where the laws of physics doesn't apply. Hopefully that isn't the actual production model that was being displayed.

i was never a fan of the g5 series case.. then again i dont like those flip panels (whatever those things are called) on any of the cases. m series.. hmm reminded me too much of a vcr or dvd player or something. then again, maybe that was the intention i had completely forgotten about the SB75S. if you want to talk white though, what about the SB86i? i always thought that one had a unique, interesting look to it.. but to my knowledge they only used it once.

The styling of the SB86i was pretty good too. I also liked the pre-production sd11g5 which was also in white (seen below).

And the X100 in silver didn't look so bad since the silver stripe didn't stick out as much.

Just finished installing the PC62. Finally, peace and quiet... The power brick is large, but, i apreciate the silence now! Now i realise how noisy my hard drive is haha!

AlexSpy, did you get your psu from ebay? I've noticed that the Shuttle Store has 45 in stock. I could have sworn there was 80+ a day ago.

Ok i just read this on new egg which i would like clarification on PC62 doesn't work with kpc
Reviewed By: Scuttled on 4/28/2008 Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3 Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg.com
Pros: Price Cons: Super loud, annoying fan on PSU. Bought a silent Shuttle PC62 PSU to replace it (over one hundred bucks off Shuttle Auction store) since reviewers on other sites said that's the solution to the noise... guess what... the power cords are too short. So it doesn't work with the kpc. So that's money wasted right there and I still have a noisy pc. Other Thoughts: Stop telling people the PC62 is the solution to the noise issue.. it might be on other Shuttle models but not this one.

There is another external fanless psu (but only 60W?) coming out for the K45 models (According to ShuttleXPC).

Any news when SX48P2 will be available? I believe ShuttleXPC stated a July release date for the SX48P2. He had also hinted that Shuttle was reworking the internals for future models in order to support the larger gfx cards such as the 9800GX2 and the 9800GTX. He had also mentioned that there will be 2 versions of the SX48P2, with one using DDR2 and the other one using DDR3.

No actually ShuttleXPC stated there will be two versions of the SX48P2, one for each type of memory.

Hi All,
For Shuttle, there are two X48 shipset versions coming in next three months. 1. SX48P2E - spec is almost same as SX38P2Pro, support 1066FSB. 2. SX48P2 Delux - almost same spec as SX38P2Pro but with 1066FSB and DDR3 support.
also, are you guys interest in water cool for your high end XPC? it still gona be noisy!
thankx,

I'm interested A P-series chassis is likely my next build, and I want to water cool the graphics card and/or the CPU via a dual 60 or 70mm radiator mounted on the rear of the case where the two 60mm fans are currently.

thankx, By support for ddr3, do you mean only ddr3 (and no option for ddr2), because i want the water cooled version when it comes out.
