Jetway J9F2 extreme firewire header + cpu installation tips

I'm building a rig with this motherboard and I've found that the firewire cable doesn't fit the header on the board? The board headers 'missing pin' is on the wrong way round!? Has anyone else found this problem and if so what have they done about it? The cable fits the front side (the header attached to the port) header fine tho..

On a seperate note does anyone have any tips for install cpus with screw on heatsinks? I'm really worried I'm going to crush my cpus core by going too tight!

On my MSI Fuzzy GM965 with a T7500 cpu the copper cpu heatsink I bought had screws which bottomed out and springs which limited the pressure on the chip. The screws bottomed out prior to completely compressing the springs I just made sure I tightened the springs in a criss cross pattern to keep the pressure equal during the tightening process.

Could you define what you mean by 'the screws bottoming out' though?

On the heatsink that I purchased included a back plate which was applied to the bottom of the board which included a fixed nut for the screws that are used to hold the CPU cooler down and those nuts are only a fixed depth which only allow you to pull the heatsink down so tight and they bottom out prior to the springs being fully compressed thus limited the down force on the cpu.
