We have recieved information that the SN78SH7 is due for release towards the end of June, it will include the following features:
Support for AM2+ Phenom Multi-core Processors w/HyperTransport 3.0 Technology.
Onboard HDMI Port

  • Dolby Digital Live & DTS Connect 7.1 Surround Sound
8 series graphics (so you get DirectX 10 Support)
    All solid capacitors
    Gigabit Lan
    eSATA

So pretty decent specification although I wonder if it will ship with a higher PSU than the 300W model. The H7 chassis is slightly bigger than a G5 but is not as big as a P chassis. I'll post more info when we hear more ourselves.

I believe the Shuttle Rep (ShuttleXPC) did say that the SN78SH7 will be shipping with a 300W psu.

There have been images of two different cases for the upcoming SN78SH7.  I'm curious to find out which case will be the final one.

I'm putting my bet on the second (uglier) case, since the SN78SH7 is supposed to have enough room to fit a dual slot graphics card alongside a PCI card.

The Shuttle Reps from this forum and from the official Shuttle forum, have been stating that the SN78SH7 will be able to fit a dual slot graphics card and a PCI card at the same time.  As Maturin had pointed out from another thread, that will not be possible with the first case shown.

The case is slightly larger than the G chassis, I would assume that extra space has allowed for a dual slot graphics card, unfortunately I have no pictures of the rear so I can't verify this. However if they did't use the extra space to allow for a dual slot graphics card. I really wonder why they made it bigger.

You can see the back of the case here:  http://eu.shuttle.com/SeeIT/neuheiten/360/html_en/neuheiten_sn78sh7_360_en.html

As you can see, there is no way a dual slot card and a pci card can fit at the same time.
