I don't care too much for the GPU HSF, but nice price point!

huge performance boost (typically 3-4x benchmark improvement, when compared to a VIA C7 1.5GHz / CN700 system, per benchmark software ie Sandra etc) .

Interesting.  You'd think with a 4W CPU, they'd be able to go fanless.

Note the maximum height component is the fan cooled north bridge chip (45mm above the main board)

Crikey! My mistake, that fan is on the north bridge.

The GA-GC230D Gigabyte board is better looking IMO, and it also uses all solid capacitors whereas the Intel board doesn't. Now where are the Isaiah CPUs for some performance comparisons. Come on Via...

I looked up the GA-GC230D. I couldn't find any pics showing the back panel, so I can't tell if it has DVI or any other serious advantages over the Intel board. It also has a HSF on the northbridge, as the Intel does.

Solid caps, 4 pin connector - are these things necessary on a board with a 4W processor?
