Are there any mini-ITX motherboards with the 780G chipset available, or in the works?

Finally, with the 780G there is an embedded graphics chipset that doesn't suck. That says to me that it would be a good choice for a form factor where compact size is celebrated, and adding a graphics card would compromise the smallness. I'd be happy to drop in a 4850E CPU for some efficient dual core action.

There is a new board coming from J&W. Look at their website www.jwele.com and in the news flashes you will see a link to an article from Fudzilla called "J&W has mini-itx 780G - Great Speced"

This is the board that I am waiting for. I only hope I can find them in North America for a reasonable price.

Very interesting.

and the graphic has 128 MB side port memory integrated on the board.

Woohoo! No shared memory!

Check out the back panel, that thing is loaded. And it will have a PCI-e x16 slot too.

We only heard the UK price and it will be selling for less than 90 pounds.

Looking forward to it.

Nice!! It's got both the graphics and the audio oomph for a good little media and gaming beast. Had any thoughts about a case, and are you going with a discrete graphics card?

Hello Hlafordlaes,
As for a case, I've got a Hoojum Cubit3. (I just love the case, too bad they don't make them anymore). Providing I can get the board in North America, I was thinking about trying the hybrid crossfire (if that's the term ATI uses). I'll probably wait until the 4450's or 4470's come out and then use it along with the IGP. I think I sould get decent frame rates with a setup like that.

I'll pick up a 4850e processor and max out the ram, so I figure it will be quite the killer mini system when it's all done. All I need now it somewhere in North America to buy the board!
