I had a feeling after seeing Space Siege also done by Chris Taylor and Gas Powered games that things would be different with a third Dungeon Siege.
Space Siege no longer features party members and instead a single chartacter.

Dungeon Siege is headed in this same direction dropping the more complex party design for a single character.

i know the first two games were decent enough, but got knocked for a somewhat linear progression.  That being said, I enjoyed them just the same.  I'm looking forward to the 3rd one as well.

Hey craigbru!  Dungeon Siege 2 wasnt quite as linear as Dungeon Siege and you have alot of optional areas and areas that unlock as you finish particular quests. Alot of secrets in Dungeon Siege 2 many people arent aware of.....
Ive also played the Broken Worlds addon for Dungeon Siege 2 which was pretty good.

Its rpg lite and nothing wrong with that but Im very intrigued by Space Siege which is also coming.

It appears Chris Taylor was only talking hypothetically about what could happen in a third Diugeon Siege game.  He said their were no official plans for a third installement in the series at this time.
