If I swap the SG-01 for a TJ08 case instead on the last one.

Total: $1165.94

Hmmm that is only a $10 difference. Maybe I just go with the i7 but I'd have to give up my SFF.  If not my possible cooling options are this with a larger fan pulling air up. or this with the fan under it blowing air up.

Question is can I cram all that in there and keep it reasonable cool. I don't intend to OC at all, and noise isn't a huge concern. I would like to keep it reasonable but if I have to plant some extra fans in there I will.

My other choice would be a Sugo SG-04. (The shuttle i7 xpc is out, since I need Firewire) since extra fans would be much easier.

Also I haven't been overly happy with my SN25P (third XPC) so it was one reason I was looking at Silverstone. Plus I would like the option off being able to use another expansion slot, since in most Shuttle's that goes out the window with the dual slot cooling on most GPUs.

I am doing this for some gaming and a lot of virtualization testing. While the i7 would be nice, it isn't necessary, I was just thinking if I went that way now it would be a long time before I need a new box considering the last one made it 3.5 years. (vid card died so the 8800GTS was the only thing that changed).

Thoughts or opinions on if it can be done in a true SFF.

I would opt for the silverstone 700watt psu and and the short cable kit to save space in the sugo.
