I guess we'll know for sure when they release windows7, but honestly I don't have a boot issue with Vista. I read a lot about folks talking about it but some how I have work my way around it. The only thing I can figure they have everything in the world set to start up on boot up. What do you guys think?

My Vista bootups are pretty quick and havent had any issues so far but I dont alow unneeded programs to start at boot.

I agree with you its probably to much stuff trying to load.

I am satisfied at this point in time with Vista. I am running Vista 32bit Home full edition with no real issues other than no Vista support for one printer but my XP covers that. My boot up time is as good as XP.

Youre using Vista now DB?  Good to hear and glad youre enjoying it.  Is that one printer an older printer that isnt supported by Vista?

Yea it,s one that's about five years old and just not supported Vista but like I side It,s covered with my XP OS. I got three hhd,s running independent with three different OS running. One is a removable drive that I use for storage and back ups.

Vista was one of the easiest installs Ive ever had as it saw all my hardware and I only had to update the graphics driver.

I seen a bunch of post about the install time taking forever but it was quicker than XP for me, Think it depends on the computer weather it's a custom build or a prebuilt system such as a Dell and so forth. I build all of mine for max speeds with out all the OC and of course this one being a fairly new build everything is a breeze.
