Ever since I switched to the 1.04 ATI gpu2 core I've been getting much lower ppd. (They discontinued the 1.03 core, I was forced to switch over.) I used to be up around 3600ppd, now I'm struggling to break 3000. Anyone having this problem?

I think your card is lacking in N's and V's and D's...  I think you get 4200 ppd with an N and a V and a D in your card.

8800GT.  My first NVidia card in probably ten years (or ever?).  I really gave up on ATI after my last $360 card never worked again due to lame driver support.  It was an AIW X800.  Haven't seen it produce a TV signal in two years.

I, also, am using Nvidia so can't help you with your question.  Sorry.
