Hello guys, I'm new user, sorry about my doubt.
so, I was trying to upload my avatar and when I press upload button, I see this msg.
The form you submitted contained the following errors
* A problem was encountered while attempting to upload your file
Return to Previous Page
what's wrong?
my avatar have 100x100 and 2.32kb
I browsing in D:\avatar_nmd.jpg
I have same problem while I was trying upload picture. (same file)
anyone know what's wrong? thank very much.

no more informations.. I try to upload another file 80x80 with 1.32k and got same problem..
anyone know what happened?

It could be due to the site upgrade and switch of server we had recently. I can't see why it would't work myself mind..

If you save the image as a .gif instead of a .jpg then it will upload fine, im not sure why this is. But I managed to upload it ok as a .gif

tino. Not yet! I save as gif, png, but same erro occurs everytime i try to upload it. another tip? thank you. edit: I made a test, I choose one of those default avatars.. like head_butt.jpg, then I saved in my computer and tried upload it and got same error. I don't know what happened. if you can put that image for me, I just can say thanks  see u.. |

weird  I saved it in my hd, and tried upload that, but the same error accours.. :/ damn. I'll try it using proxy connection.. I'll let you know about it. c u. |

I just tried changing my avatar several times nmd with different gifs and had no issues at all,hope you get it worked out.

Try doing a 99x99pixel upload... I feel it might be connected to the size.

'Fraid 99x99 and .gif get the same unhelpful error message. If you guys with Admin privileges can do it and we can't, then that points to a switch in your settings. Some forum software has an Admin switch to allow/disallow uploads by new members. I tend to change avatars until I settle on the right one, and I don't wanna hassle youz every time I wanna switch. ;-)
