Hey all...I'm looking to upgrade my year+ old SG01e case with new...well everything pretty much.

Current build:
Core 2 6600
8800 GTS
4G of g.skill DDR2 800 RAM
NT-06 Lite cooler
Couple of 150G raptor drive
Foxconn G9657MA-8EKRS2H mobo
Silverstone ST50EF-Plus SC (short cable)

Planning to buy:
e8600
WD Velociraptor 300G drive
4870 x2

I'm dropping the Velociraptor in the 2nd 5.25" bay and pulling out the hard drive cage to make room for the video card. I'm pretty sure I need a new motherboard to get the most out of that CPU (the foxconn FSB is 1066), and I kinda want a new mobo anyways to be honest. What should I be looking at? Also, has anything come along CPU cooling-wise that I should think about?

This is a mobile gaming machine, and noise isn't really an issue (I use headphones).

The other option is to just do the HDD and and video card now, and wait on the mobo and processor until the Core i7s come out. What are the chances of somebody building a decent micro ATX mobo for Core i7, considering how much bigger the die is?
