damn.. this thread is depressing as hell. this place just isn't the same anymore (besides all the technical difficulties). i know i haven't been around lately, but that's just because of a lack of activity which makes the forums one of the last places i ever visit. the sudhian forums used to be my freakin start page. like where did everyone go? i noticed raiden's forum isn't too active either..

if there are any plans to move / improve / create a whole damn new site. im down.

Connections have been intermittent for me, but the site is persistently slow.  I do most of my surfing while I'm at work.  I may be logged in all day, but I really only have a few minutes here or there to post.  It's very frustrating when I'm waiting on the site... I'm just too busy.

What posting I have done over the past few day hasn't been that bad even what has been place on the front page, maybe it will hold.

Any news about the site?
The continuing slowness starts to be annoying, although by now the veteran users start to be used for that...

yeah, it sorted out a bit back, but it has once again turned to crap, realllllly innaccessible with errors here and there but mostly non-existant loading (finishes loading on a white screen most time and requires constant refreshes to get a page to appear. why's it suddenly acting up again? maybe the other site we share with is a holiday card shop :O oh nose!

Im not sure what site we share the hosting with, however as mentioned in off topic, Babar is working on it. So hopefully the long wait will be over soon. Although I think the damage to the site has already been done.

Let's hope that Sudhian load times speed up. In the last months, whenever I pushed the bookmark for Sudhian, I got up and walked into my kitchen for a coffee refill.

I would hate to see Sudhian slowly wither away.

We have some options in mind, but the bottom line is we need a new and faster host. I have found a couple, but if any of you know of a reasonably priced dedicated host, fire them my way via PM. We would also consider a shared server *if* the hardware on it was pretty substantial and it was load-balanced.

Question: Does anyone have any experience with Webspace Depot, or SmokyHosts? They are offering reasonable prices for hosting. Let me know.
