For that kind of ppd either multiple computer c2d or c2q's with several smp's or a couple of high end Nvidia cards running the gpu2 client along with a couple of smp clients. With the right equipment 28kppd is very doable on a single computer. I do not think it can be done with a shuttle but maybe with a high end  matx and a couple of GTX295's with a core 2 quad running 4 gpu2 clients and 2 smp clients.

according to your sig box thing, that's almost 50% of sudhians output :O

I don't think CNGN is in Australia anymore.  I believe he moved back home.

Thanks Pudge,

I had read where he bought a house but actually missed the part about moving home.  I guess that means he is somewhere in India now.  Wherever he is, he is certainly THE awesome folder.

Crikey, thats a fair effort.

I'm currently running one SMP and one GPU2 but my output has diminished drastically since i last folded. Thinking i'll run another SMP again - though i had problems running two with EUE errors last year.

-edit-

Clearly I need to change to a different beer. Something to do with the heat up in the Top End I reckon.

Naw I'm still down under, went back to India on a project for the Bank I work for. spent bout 8 weeks in the old country. When I got back, I bought a house on the outskirts of Sydney. After the good life here I don't think I'll ever go back to India, love the Aussies and especially their beer way to much to ever leave now Smiley

I've been busy at work, lately, doing 14 hour days, guess that's the Indian in me.

and about the config I run

I have 5 9800GTX+ cards running across 4 rigs ( one of them has 2 GPUs), they also have 1 AMD Dual Core (6000 AM2), 2 AMD Quad cores (9950 AM2) and lastly one Intel (Core 2 Quad 9550). Yep the power bill is a wee bit high, but atleast it's for a good cause. Plus I buy 50% of my power from sustainable or "green power" resources, so I tend to assuage my guilt with that Smiley

Been having probs with the Intel box, seems to hang atleast once a day and I know it's not the heat, ( all the rigs are water cooled), the reason my production seems to slip then climb back, will sort it out when I get the time.

Good to see our forum alive and well though, keep folding guys.

Congratulations CNGN!!!  Now number 1 all time producer for Sudhian.

Also being number 605 producer in the world is quite an accomplishment.
