... But, now it's time to move on.

I'm going over to OCAU, it's time I started putting in some points for them.

Have a nice one and keep folding guys. Remember, it's for a good cause.

Adios

Ouch that will really hurt the team losing the largest producer on a team which has really lost momentum in the last couple of years. At least you will still be folding so that is a good thing good luck in the future.

why ppl fold in the first place is beyond me...its just a numbers game.  when is the last time you saw an article posted saying "Due to folding data around the world, we found a cure for this disease..."?

Come on, its pointless, and purely for bragging rights...however, when someone brags about folding, its fun to laugh at them, because they actually think it is important or means anything, lol

quite sad, still folding when i can.

@crobs808

With the aid of F@H results, there has been big headway into Alzheimers and Huntingtons.

"2009 We have had some exciting results regarding new possible drug leads for Alzheimer's. We hope to be submitting these soon for publication. "

The "numbers game" was created to keep people interested, sure. Though without the game only some would fold and these results would take decades more if at all. If i had it my way i'd install F@H clients on every PC I saw, whether under my name or anonymous. (which i have done with a few computer labs in my control Tongue)

And you must remember that papers can take years to pass peer-review and testing etc and that F@H is still relatively new.

just like that little part in that thar signature of yours yes? Smiley

there's plenty of "results" that have been achieved through the info that the folders send back, granted it's not the cure for parkinsons and cancer like people like to describe folding as being part of, but heck, it seems to be helping so why not continue doing it? and as far as i've seen, people don't really brag about folding, sure they have friendly competition with friends, why wouldn't you, but hardly bragging..
