Enermax's Crazy Twister Contest

Hi!

Posted in haste into a contribution of Enermax's Crazy Twister Contest. And was lucky to come on to the poll. Now I hope that you can help me in this competition. I end up at 1 - 3 place I win a cash prize. This fits perfectly with the thought that I need money for a processor and memory to this project.

So hope someone will post a vote for my contribution: "Mr. Anki" - Headphone Cooling

BIG UPDATE!

Hi!

Sorry stop the update, have been busy times lately but here comes a big update. Hope you like what you see :-)

Cutting of the motherboard tray and the hiding of cables!

Has been cut motherboard tray so that it is as deep as the motherboard and have started to hide the cables under the motherboard tray. What remains of the cable hide nobody will hopefully come soon:)

Has cut off the bit of the motherboard tray that sticks out behind the board:

Here I have made holes for cables to be connected to the motherboard:

A bit of the result:

Furthermore, I'll make a hole for the sata cables and power cable to the optical device.

Organization of cables!

Have arranged all the power cables to be connected to the motherboard. It remains now only to superior cable management for optical drives, fan control and hard disks.

Made a new list in the back of the motherboard tray. Where do I cut it in the previous update:

After a few rounds with the razor, it was in place:

The plan is that the cables will come on board from the motherboard tray, in this way:

Therefore had to make holes in the list of cables, 24-pin:

24-pin and 8-pin cable in place:

There are also holes for the sata cables and power to the video card in place:

Organization of cables and mounting the fans!

Are done to make holes for the cables that will go to 5.25 "wells now. So now I wait for some forlegnere from chilled PC before I can try all mounting hardware.

Here I have made holes for cables in 5.25 "wells:

The holes will be used for the power cable to the DVD burner and fan control, SATA cable, and all the fan cables:

Has also been in place HDD rack, not very fancy but will use this until I possibly find something else:

The fans in the cabinet are now assembled, will put on the cable knit socks for each:

The result exterior:

And so was the interior:

The fan behind:

The next thing that we happen now is to try fitting all the parts and eventually I'll spit rounded edges on the outside of the enclosure. So stay tuned! Smiley

Here are some pictures of the DVD tray, the edges around to eventually save clothes again:)

Trial Installation!

Keeps trying assemble all the hardware in the cabinet now and so far everything looks to be as it should:)

Do not put on the front yet, but it comes later.

There was some chaos in the beginning, one can say: p

With a little creative solutions are to facilitate:

 (Sorry bad mobile photos)

Motherboard board in place:

Down by PSU, with some adjustments, this is fairly well:

Hardware in place:

From behind, need a little adjustment here too. Among other cable streams in 24-pin cable:

Moreover, now I will start to renovate chassis and eventually sputter edges.

What do you think about the project? :-)

Hello!

Long time, but now is finally a new update on the project. Does started with paint and no case has been completed within a short time! So long I have Sparkle and refurbished housing, and had on a layer of primer. Within a day I will paint in the colors black and gray as shown in the picture below. Stay tuned!

A comment on the project would have been nice!
