Wow hate to hear this new's. Capt. Phil was in my eye's the biggest star of the series. He was a no bull kinda guy.

I haven't watched the show in awhile, however from what I've seen of it, I can imagine the stress of such a job, combined with other factors that affect the crew of a ship (diet, exercise, work schedule, injuries) could lead to medical problems like stroke or a heart attack.

never watched the show, but seen some previews. The stress that these guys go through must be enormous. Sad to hear that the star of the show has passed away.
