Yes it was a great ride for gamers while it lasted but as of this weekend the site has gone to what appears to be a complete make over converting over to all commercial designed computer hardware . The new look will have a few DFI hard core up set over the next few months . See the new DFI HERE , It was reported last year (2010) that something was going on in side the Corp. Headquarters located in Hsi-Chih City, Taiwan by another site who wanted to know 1st. hand what was happening and traveled to the headquarters main office in Taiwan but was unable to get anyone there to talk. You can view their report HERE and it's still not clear if we will ever see any more enthusiast motherboards from DFI it's truly doubtful we ever see the return of what many viewed the baddest of the bad motherboard ever.

For all the great rep these products had I had issues with them over time and move to Asus.
Ive used Asus quite a bit for performance setups with few issues.
It was a popular product no doubt.

I have had great success with the DFI line of LanParty and Infinity series and flawless use of them , I useing the 790FX am3 in my main computer and the 790 Dark am2 in another computer. I'll be taking the hard ward I just upgraded from and placing it in a extra case for back up DFI 570 infinity am2 mobo. All of these are AMD base boards

Mine were Intel based and I had two of them go in my pro gaming box so I finally gave up and moved to Asus who had a deal going at the time at an event I was at.

Settings were great, overall good performers but had chipset isues in my case on two similar boards.
Ive always been partial to Asus and I still have those boards, working great.

I have two AM2 Asus boards and never could get them to run just like I wanted but that didn't make them bad boards

What made the DFI boards so special was also their downfall as having so much flexibility with performance mobos leads to issues.
Ive had cranky Asus boards as well but easier to work out of problems with them than with DFI.

All boards have their eccentricities but Asus is one of the easier boards to tweak and their bios at least in my experience are darn good.
