Im not a fan and frankly was much happier using the classic Gnome view with Ubuntu 11.04 but I run ubuntu 10.10 on one of my pcs instead.

I moved over to KDE 4.6 with Kubuntu and also use LXDE and Fluxbox with their Mint 9 versions.
