Its not a bad deal actually, just depends on what youve got available.

Ive got a Redbox just down the street with some great offerings as well.

Yeah, we have Netflix, we're downgrading to just the rental plan, if not cancelling altogether. Like CC said, we've got a Redbox right around the corner from us, and I might even check into Blockbuster's site...

Wife and I talked it over and already being a member those price changes wont go into effect till Sept. 1st so we'll be canceling out before it takes effect . Blockbuster may be the best alternative

Like with television, if it's being put up for anyeone to see without paying fee's and licenses, then i'll wattch what i like, that's their fault for allowing it to be publicly available, so as such, everything i watch is free courtesy of a google search Cheesy unless they're willing to give me a refund when i don't enjoy their crap (which most is these days) then i won't be giving them my money Smiley

For example i watched the green hornet last night, if i had paid £8 to watch that at the cinema or rent a copy, i would be furious and would be demanding a refund, utter load of crap.

I use Blockbuster as well, checked out Netflix Instant for a short time but with no captions it wasn't attractive at all. Hopefully that will change soon because I'd like to supplement Blockbuster with online movie rentals.

We have had Netflix streaming only since December.

I generally only use it for watching old TV shows and my kids use it to watch old cartoons (My son loves the Pink Panther cartoons).

So, this will affect me very little.
