What they are listing as  problems that could effect how Lion will be used ,

It seems that Apple has decided it really doesn’t like Adobe that much and has broken a whole range of their products with its release. Probably the biggest kick in the teeth is to do with that bit of software that Apple has already banned from iOS devices: Flash Player.

Apple has also decided to leave out the Java Runtime,

Other than that, Adobe has made live a “known issues” list regarding running its products on Lion. It has caused problems for the majority of the company’s applications including Acrobat, Adobe Drive, Contribute, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash Builder, Flash Catalyst, Flash Player, Illustrator, Lightroom, LiveCycle, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.

Windows has never had both Flash or Java included, so no real news in that. It's just Apple saying they won't be Adobe's slaves anymore.

From what I'm understanding is may be some capability issues if it is downloaded to the system OS , correct me if I'm wrong.

If you rely on any of those products for work, and use a Mac, I’d suggest reading what the issues are before applying that Lion update.

The issues are a lot of "sorry, we didn't bother with updating our programs". Lion developer beta has been out long enough for any patches to be developed and sent out in time. This always happens with large OS updates, nothing new, just that Adobe has a page dedicated to the possible problems that might arise.

We've seen the same things happen when a new Windows version comes out, suddenly the entire Adobe lineup isn't compatible anymore. Hello Adobe, how about you check out the Windows beta developer program, released a year ago. No, they want you to pay for an upgrade. Autodesk does the same with AutoCAD. But ofcourse, Apple haters read something totally different between the lines of the topic's original meaning.
