We have traveled down this road before are these people just disturbed with a common interest in games or do you believe there is a real connection ?
Many of us play games as a pass time as a form of pleasure and enjoyment and a way to interact with other s people and make news friends , so what go's though the minds of a few that would claim games were nothing but a training tool to commit crimes of murder and violence .

Norway Suspect Used Activision’s Call of Duty to Train for Massacre

In the words of this guy:
Quote
“I just bought Modern Warfare 2, the game. It is probably the best military simulator out there and it’s one of the hottest games this year. … I see MW2 more as a part of my training-simulation than anything else. I’ve still learned to love it though and especially the multiplayer part is amazing. You can more or less completely simulate actual operations.”

It's always the wrong questions that get asked. They should ask: how did he get a hold on an M14 ? How did he get the special rounds ? How did he get those police clothes ?

No, let's see what types of entertainment he likes, all answers are there !

*sigh*

I don't know what he means by completely simulating an actual operation. I've played the last 3 COD games for 100+ hours each, I've never had the feeling I'd ever learn anything useful from them, in a combat situation. Unless you'd like to simulate campers and lag.

Yes, maybe when someone rescues someone from drowning, he plays allot of call of duty, but it would never asked of course.

Btw this is/was almost a daily routine in Iraq, not saying this isn't shocking! (and they probaly never played any war games)..
