No I don't because of different reasons: - I don't like adding or talking to people I'm not interested in or whom I don't know - I don't like sharing useless information with people or having useless information shared with me - I don't like the obvious peer pressure involved - I don't like the "second form of friendship" that seems to become more prominent (ie. you didn't say "this" on facebook, aren't we friends ?!)
All the friends I have can reach me through cell phone or email if they need me or I need them. Casual chatting is for IRL cafes, restaurants and bars. I've used IM since the beginning of ICQ, even when it started to get used by "normal" people, about the year 2000. I've had my share of internet chatting and I've lost the appeal.

I use Twitter occasionally, but I'm not on Facebook for pretty much the same reasons as Phuncz. A lot of my friends are on FB and try to get me on there, but it doesn't interest me much.

After the lose of my dad , I started finding family that I hadn't seen in more than 40 + years , so it has lead to FB as a why to keep in touch and now found many of the people whom I attended school with many years ago. Found it to be as bad as any place on the internet and the need to be just as careful.

I use Google+ almost exclusively now, if not for business news and contacts I use LinkedIn .
Google+ is just due to it being convenient and has a decent layout, LinkedIn is mainly to keep in touch with various contacts and colleagues within the industry in which I work.

Hi Guys, I do use Facebook. I have friends scattered all over the country and the rest fo the globe. I find it handy to check the news feed once a day and see what everyone is up to. I have long since sorted out my settings to that I see little that isn't of interest to me. I don't post that much. Google+ seems a better fit for me but as yet I don't know too many people using it.
