By now I'm guessing you heard the news about HP's Fon & Computers?

HP Kills Its Tablets, Smartphones; Are Personal Computers Next?

Steve quits his job due to health. (Sad when you make the hardware/software & it still does not work.) (I have worked behind the fon with those dreadful iphones & horrible iTune updates goes awry when apple use the iZombies as beta testers. Can you hear me now?)

HP is a big Cry Babbie for not standing up to Crapple & informing the customer about the lies.  A locked iPhone can be hacked in 20 seconds!  Now that apple uses PC Hardware the failure rate is the same. The naive apple users believes they can click on anything and nothing can hurt them. The average PC user knows better and our software is tempered steel - it has to be in the cyber jungle.

Just this year apple finally added media card readers in their computers... A little late to the game since PC had them back in the 1990's!!!

Steve does not look good at all. Since the photo is from TMZ it could be doctored?

HP puts its Touchpad back on sale, at full price!

Did The Market Get It Wrong About Hewlett-Packard?

It's going to be interesting watching HP & Apple Stocks...

LOL! Sorry, I can't respond seriously against haters.

Why don't you stop hating Apple and just ignore them ? If you hate them so much and blame Apple for HP's move, maybe you should get into a group that helps you deal with uncontrollable anger and hate issues. Hating a company for making products that millions of people enjoy, is clearly some misguided frustration.

I just hate being extorted for cables, memory & so on when buying a computer.  Apple even soders the CPU to the motherboard to restrict future DIY upgrades!  They even Screw iPhone users w/ special Crapple Screws that requires a Special Screw Diver when the battery is changed or phone is repaired.  With Windows/Linux PC's & none iPhones we can change our own batteries!

Both the iMac & Mac Mini are good looking computers but beauty is only skin deep.

WebDev on a Mac is remotely entertaining after viewing the site on a PC.  Something is off most of the time...  Ok it's IE most of time but that is another can of worms all together.

You don't have to buy them from Apple, there are many options for cables, memory and so on.

iMac 21,5"

If you are talking about their mobile devices, I recommend you look at other manufacturers as well, with comparable devices.

They even Screw iPhone users w/ special Crapple Screws that requires a Special Screw Diver when the battery is changed or phone is repaired.
That's why Apple gives the full waranty EVEN ON THE BATTERY (this is not mandatory). They also use high quality Li-Ion or Li-Po batteries that last much longer. My iPhone 2G went for 3,5 years with daily charging (over 1200 charge cycles) and it still worked perfectly then. I've had no one in my social circle ever complain about an Apple's battery.

With Windows/Linux PC's & none iPhones we can change our own batteries!

Yes and you will need to use that "advantage" more, after the very limited warranty (3-6 months) on them expire.

Are you talking about one program, for developing websites, looking crapy on IE and you are blaming the Mac ? Since when does the OS have ANYTHING to do with how a webpage is built ?

You are using a lot of standard hater arguments that aren't based on much fact or only seen from one viewpoint. I recommend you try to atleast understand why every Mac user is so happy with their device(s).

The last I heard on iMacs & Mac Mini the CPU was soldered.
When did apple stop doing that so you can upgrade the CPU like you can on a PC.  (It all depends on the motherboard some are maxed out to begin with.)

WebDev
Both IE6 & older Safari most of the time requires a js/css fix by the web designer so visitors can view the site.  If we can ever get them to upgrade to a better browser like Opera & Firefox.

In my opinion the point to upgrade your CPU is moot these days. With the Core i-series, Intel has 3 different sockets and a 4th one on the way for Ivy Bridge. That doesn't make it easy to upgrade, without even considering Apple's lack of interest in the subject.

Since every Mac now has atleast a Core i5 and the desktop models are all fitted with quad-cores, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out it doesn't really matter unless you need the best performance. And that is where the Mac Pro comes in, with up to 12-core CPU power.

Don't forget that most people use their computers for internet browsing, email, photo managing/editing and occasionally some video-editing. For all those things, the standard CPU's in all current Macs are fast enough. If you need it for something else, you are looking at the wrong type of computers.
