Hi I have a SG33G5 that I uses for media. Anyway, my system just turned off for no reason; no weird sounds, burning smell. Power is still going to the front LCD panel which makes me think the power supply is still good. Did my motherboard or CPU die?

Hello DG and welcome to the forums,

At a guess, with the info given, power supply is still a major suspect.

Try an atx psu if you have one around.

if it doesn't work out, list your parts in detail and we can try to help.

We have people with serious hands on Shuttle experience stopping in.

Keep us informed.

Hi there

The most likely cause to your problem is the PSU, try a standard psu from another computer if you can, by the way you can alternative psu for your shuttle like this one

http://www.overtek.co.uk/products/fsp-250w-flex-atx-1u

Just google for 250w flex 1U psu and ensure that it has suffient plugs to feed you hard drives and other items installed in your case.
