How to connect JP16 connector (ribbon style) to Gigabyte H61N-USB3 mobo?

hi guys,
i'm planning to replace my dead ST20G5 mobo to a new Gigabyte H61N mobo and fix it to the existing shuttle chasis. but, inside the chasis, there is a front panel board for usb/audio/1394 with JP16 connector (ribbon style). so, how do i connect the connector to the mini-itx mobo? what modification should i do? another question, can i use the existing shuttle power supply?
please see the pictures.any advice/suggestions will be appreciated. thanks.

You aren't going to be able to connect the ribbon cable to the new board. Your picture shows a 10 pin header adjacent to the audio jacks. This may be an alternative connector for the audio. You'll have to ring it out to see if it goes to the jacks. If so and you have a box of spare cables you can probably put together an audio cable that will work.
If your shuttle PSU has a standard 20 or 24 pin atx12 power supply then it should work. Even the i7-2600K has relatively low power needs. If it doesn't have a 4 pin, 12volt plug for the CPU power then you will need to add that. If you plan on adding a graphics card then you need to consider another power supply.
I think I would be tempted to just get an inexpensive case like the Ark PI01 that has a similar form factor to your shuttle case and move the hard drive and DVD drive over to it and avoid trying to build custom cables for the front panel.
