Congratulations!!!

Kids are great. Don't worry too much about no sleep though, it's the formula diapers that are going to take your breath away.

You're a dad and I'm about to be an Uncle.  I found out this weekend that my brother's wife is pregnant.  Her first OBGYN visit is coming up so we'll find out when she's due.  This'll be my first niece/newphew.  Uncle...wow...

I'm very happy for you, George. My daughter didn't sleep for the first 2 1/2 years, not one full night. But take heart, the grandson sleeps like a log, so there's hope.

Scut, being an uncle is cool too. I've got a few nieces and nephews scattered around the US.

Nooyawkah, I'm getting in trouble with my wife constantly because I sleep through the baby's crying. I only wake up after my wife does.

KeinSpeil, I am pleased to report that I'm able to handle the stench of the diapers so far. It's probably because he's not being fed formula. I can sympathize though, because my wife made me change the diapers of a friend's formula-fed baby as practice.

Drinken, I posted specs here.
