Maybe the reason that the second RJ-45 is missing is just because they didn't have a hole for it with the SS40g case.  Perhaps with an updated case it will be included.

As somebody asked near the top of this thread, waht is the best PCI video tuner card out there and the best external video tuner to connect to these SFFs?

Uhhh...anyone see an SP/DIF output anywhere?  I understand it's the wrong case and all, but I'm a little antsy to hear this thing pumped through my 5.1 stereo via ac3-on-the-fly.  Perhaps a riser...

Hmmm...

Since this case appears to be an SS40 case, does this mean that I will be able to buy an NForce2 motherboard and put it in my SS40?
And who said SSFs aren't upgradeable?!?

Put me on the list when the SN40 motherboard is available!

SN40 looks great, wonder if the extra port will be available via an add on cable?

TV Tuner card - I have always used the Hauppauge cards and have found they always work, work well from Win95 to WinXP, software is nice (although I use the stripped down Win32 app rather than the 2000 version) and their PVR range is great. If you just like watching, get the cheaper standard PCI version as the software for that allows deinterlacing, a god send here in the UK.

I have an ASUS 8200 with VIVO and it is rubbish. With both the ASUS and Nvidia drivers it fails completely in XP to let me record. I have spent days probably weeks trying to get it to work. Utter (I had better not say!). People rave about the ATI cards, not sure if they offer full MPEG2 hardware encoding as the WinPVR does from Hauppauge. You can select from VCD/SVCD/MPEG 2 (2Mbit to 12MBit) CBR or VBR. I use the full wack 12VBR and compress it using Divx5. Works like a dream.
