Hi guys and gals.

Has anyone installed a TV Tuner card inside a Cupid box with an Epia 800 ? I was wondering if everything
- fits,
- runs,
- and if the power brick handles the load ?

I'm building a HTPC, so the config will be Epia 800 + 40Gigs HD + DVD + 512 Megs + TV Card... and I need the NIC to work ;-).

The Tuner card will most likely be an Hauppauge WinTV PCI.

Thanks in

Hi,

I've fitted a WinTV inside the Cubid box. Fits easily, but I had to reposition the dual case fans
slightly, as the tuner module on the card sticks down too much.

Seems to work perfectly. I use ShowShifter, and it will capture in MJPEG. Windows Media
is too much for it though.

Hey Colintinto....how do you like ShowShifter?  What functions are you using?  I'm getting ready to go down this path myself and would love to use the Epia because its so quiet, but I'm concerned it doesn't have enough horsepower for the DVR functionality ... are you using this?
