I am MSDN subscriber and I got Windows XP Tablet PC in the mail, I wondering if it would work on my desk top.. I do have Wacom Intious 2 9x12 Tablet connected to it.

I don't believe this is beta, it does not have beta on DVD.  And MSDN subscription site for getting keys did not state beta...

Small update:

I installed this on my PC.  It will work with my tablet and quite cool.. It comes with new stuff like Windows Journal and On screen keyboard and hand writing reconizer.. I also think it has some speach input...

Need drivers for network to fully make it work on my system.  I have Windows XP Pro. Windows 2000 Pro and Wndows XP Tablet Edition on my P4 now...  All seperate drivers

It is sorta like combinations of Windows XP SP1 and Pocket PC in one enviroment...

Hehe, abit confused here.
Tablet PC Windows is Windows for one of them Touchscreen PCs... Acer made one of those. Not for a tablet.

Hymm, looks like you can use it. But still you can't use it fully, as you don't have a touchscreen.

WinXP and Win2K also have an on-screen keyboard, is the one in WinXP Tablet a special one?
And what's Windows Journal?

Actaully it is designed for Tablet machines which is slightly different from Touch screen,  primary higher resolution because of using a Pen.   My monitor is LCD 18in, but the tablet is seperate.   This software could probably be used on a machine with out the tablet but some of actions would be harder to do.

Here is the link to my actual tablet - if you notice also Wacom is a major supplier of pen hardware for most of the tablets ( that is what they say ).

Here is a link on tablet pc on Wacom's site.
