I would like to draw your attention to the fact that this week's new members have totalled more than 2600 points, which represents more than half of the full team score for this week.

I think that deserves a big round of applause (without the smug face - I'm not allowed yet )

Fantastic, well done all. Some of the new members are soon going be overtaking people like me and i have been in the team for a whole 6 weeks or so...

Hi, Folks!

It's fun being here, especially when everyone is so cool - these forums really are a great place to hang out!  Not only that, this folding exercise is addicting!  I keep staring at the stats, wondering how things are going.  Sometimes, I feel like it's like watching the grass grow ("c'mon... hurry up"!), but it really is a blast watching the machines chug away.  It's quite a difference from just listening to them do nothing more than suck up power for no good use!  Thank you all for making this so much fun, and special thanks to those of you who've been going at this for so long, regardless of score: it's clear that this "race" is all about endurance, not just a burst of speed.

I know what you mean, Mark.  I check my stats every morning when I get into work and every night before I go to bed.  I also give my machines the once over each night  to make sure everything's still ok.  I love to compete and this is a much more healthy way to do it.  I now just have to make sure I don't get carried away and start buying stuff that I don't need just so I can put together another system, hehehe.

Who says buying a machine just for folding is gettin carried away??

Hehe, I like to build computers for friends and innocently slip in a little program.

I don't charge them for the labor as long as they promise to keep that little flower(gear) icon in the toolbar.

I would also like to give a big hi-five to all you folders.  It's fun to egg each other on and compete without spraining an ankle.

Thanks Bruce,

I am running 2 systems 24 hours a day and I have one anonymous folder helping me out. 28th position and moving up. I seem to be getting a lot of those big WU's. I have completed only 74 in 28th position. Is that good or bad?
