I am using MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU motherboard [KT333 chipset with promise raid].
2 Maxtor 15gb harddisk for raid 0.
winxp w/ sp1

Which patch is suitable for me?
Do u need to install via 4 -in -1 or any patches can enchance my raid performance?
I tried the wpcredit and changes  0D=00 75=95 and the performance[bandwidth] from your hd speedtest went up from 67 to 86.
Will I lost the setting after reboot?

thanks~

Anything 0.19 or later will work. 0.19d will help RAID. So will some of the 0.20 betas (0.20b4 is recommended by AMDMB.com).

The 4-in-1 isn't involved. VIA's "RPP1.02" RAID patch is helpful, and some people combine it with my 0.19d patch. But I don't recommend that combination.

Yes. The chipset discards the changes during a reset. WPCRSET is a utility that will accept a list of WPCREDIT changes, and will apply them every time the computer is restarted.

My next PCI patch will allow customization for RAID, and will store the customizations in the registry, and will read the registry and re-apply the changes at every reboot. We will hopefully need WPCRSET a lot less in the future.
