DigiTimes is reporting that ECS is going to start selling some of their desknotes without the LCD screens. I would no longer really be a portable, just a SFF machine.

i'll be very interested to see what these look like...if they retain the notebook like design and just remove the LCD, or redesign the system.  these can already be had with LCD for 700, so i'm curious to see what the final price will look like; these could potentially be very competitive SFF systems.
