Dear George,
With wpcredit (or wpcrset, register 92 is with value EB, acpi activated) on my Soltek sl-75drv5-c board i have problem with reboot "restart" and in "restart in ms-dos mode". I have no problem with "shutdown".
If register 92 is set to 6B (no cooling), all operation (restart, restart in ms-dos mode and shutdown) perform without problems.
Thanks for Your help.

Agreed, HauZDauG. I found that the Audigy card won't initialize properly on my Asus board when cooling is enabled along with other PCI settings. I can't start up or shut down properly with a Creative PCI128 card in some cooled configurations either.
