I've read here and elsewhere that the HSF on the EPIA M9000 is rather loud.  Over at SilentPCReview they had some success with adding a Zelman fan mate and slowed it down so that it wasn't so bad.  Has anyone had success with replacing it with as fanless HS?  Does the Zelman CNPS6100 fit?   At the Zelman site ( http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/cnps6100alcu.htm )  they say it fits the VIA C3 933 MHz processors.  Does that mean the M9000?   My board should be coming this week and I'll go the fanmate route if that's the best choice but it seems like there should be something better.

What case are you intending to use? The Zalman Fan Mates don't fit very nicely into the Cubid cases, with the EPIA M 9000. The fan tail wires are very short. The Fan Mate has to lay close to the HSF.

I'm building my own case using Plexiglass.  I haven't finished with the design yet but power supply will be external so the only thing in this box will be motherboard and hard drive.
