Yeah, it's huge compared to the 5.25" model that was out before. Two questions: Why are there two sets of mic/speaker ports? What does the "speed" button do? Is it like the turbo buttons on old Pentiums?

Good questions. I really wantd the P3 SUMICOM but those are going to be tougher to get now that the P3 is being phased out. You can still but a VIA C3 in it but that loses some appeal for me.
The new one is so big I think I would rather have an E-Note instead. It's so much cheaper than the SUMICOM but still bigger than this one. I've got another month and 1/2 to decide. Hopefully the E-Notes will be cheaper by then.

I don't get this, they make abigger case but don't put any major imrovements in it. No full size CD drive and no PCI.

Well, the only reason it's bigger is so that it can take the bigger heat sink. Both of the new P4 models can take a 3.5 HD instead of 2.5 in the P3 models.

Oh yeah, I think the larger cases let you use full size RAM too. The P3 had to have special low profile DIMMS that were harder to find and more expensive.
I still prefer the P3 though.
