I"ve always considered the Starr investigation a huge waste of money.  I lambasted it back then, and I have changed my mind since.

Huh  Are you kidding me?  It said the Bush administraion did lots of things wrong hence "The CIA's being restructured, the Chief that gave the White House the faulty intel has step down, and now we have a new Homeland Security advisor as well."

Do you think all that happened because the Bush Administration did everything right?

That was Clinton's CIA cheif, appointment, not Bush's.  It was the CIA's bad interpretation given to Bush which the 9/11 comission pointed out.

Oh my bad I thought he was CIA cheif under Bush too?  Oh wait.. Im right, he was Bushs guy too.  SO that makes it the Bush administrations problems.  Just because it was Clintons guy too doesnt make it any less Bush's fault.  Bush kept him on, which means Bush took over responsibility.  He had to reappoint him.

For some reasons republicans want the government to run like a business until something goes wrong, then firing the underlings is the only solution that makes sense.  Its never the boss's fault is it?  Do you blame Bush for anything?  Or isnt he the guy who appointed all these failed secretaries and cabinet members?

Doesn't anybody remember what I remember--that for months leading up to the invasion, Bush told Saddam that he had to get rid of his WMD or the U.S. would invade (of course, it wouldn't have mattered if SH had them and did what Dubya wanted, Dubya was going to invade in any case).  Saddam said he did, but the invasion went on as planned.  How short is memory!

Not just Iran but Syria to. The fact that Saddams Iraq and Shiite Iran get on like a pair of hungry male alley cats, seemed besides the point...........  As for Syria where would they hide them with Mossad (the best intelligence service service in the World lest we forget) spying on everything they do?

I remember it very well.  What fascinates me, is those reasons then are different to those cited now. The Bush Administration has done a fantastic job in "creating questions, to fit the answers" ie the facts! I don't know who they are trying to kid, as most intelligent people can see right through it.

Most intelligent people don't really care, though ... it's a bit worrisome.
