Since my vid card is not overclocked and is running cool.....what other components would cause artifacts?  Thanks!

Blame the Memory! It seems to be culprit for most problems in these treads.

Your card isnt overclocked but your system is 2.4 @ 2.8. Are you able to lock the agp to 66mhz in the bios?  If not youll need to drop the overclock down low enough so it doesnt affect the card causing artifacts. Most cards dont like running over 70mhz on the agp bus like the 9800pro. Id also increase the agp voltage if you can to 1.7v and let me know what happens,CC

Power supply and corrupted video drivers are two things that come to my mind.
