BlackCat, You might get another day or two reprieve, I rebuilt a couple of my boxes last night so I probaly lost quite a few folding points. Plus I was rearranging a couple systems to move one in for my HTPC, so you got some additional time there too. I think we will be really close once I send off this XP 1700+ to my grandmother. I build it for her, I have just been delaying shipping it so I could get more points, hehehe.

noob, i haven't used the HD's yet because i turned on the first system and the P/S blew. i tried another one and i couldn't even get into the BIOS, so it is in the RMA pile. i'm about to start work on the 3rd and final board i bought. i'll report back. thanks for the reprieve shadow

sheesh! hardware woes all around... I had another storm today so I disconnected my TV cable from the back of my Shuttle XPC just to be safe. not going thru that again..... then later in the day after the storm I notice that the shuttle box is no longer folding... so I go out there.. and find out that it has rebooted... now I know the battery backup I have is worthless and I don't trust it at all...
so im looking for a good deal on a decent APC backup....

i got two from Belkin on their website. i haven't seen one in the refurbished section lately, but i'll keep an eye out for you. they were half price plus they forgot to tell me it would take an extra week to send, so i bitched and got an upgrade and a new one on top. nice folks. the last one i got is a cheapo i saw on newegg.com's refurbished. nothing fancy, but i think it works. not bad for $25. i'll keep an eye out there too.

BlackCat, It's been fun, I just past ya, but I'm not blazin ahead by any stretch of the means, I think you get one more machine folding and you might show up on my threat list.

well, i am having so many hardware issues. i am getting hard locks on 3 of my systems. it is the ones i have on a KVM switch, but 1 doesn't have any problems, so i don't know if that has anything to do with it. i'll sort it out somehow. then, look out
