Hopefully this is what odie is talking about. Maybe this is the smaller shuttle, maybe the system they are teaming up to bring us. I can't wait to see. Please if anybody gets some info, let us know.

Heh, yeah, you'll be lucky mate - just don't expect me to pop it in a jiffy bag and send it Royal Mail for £2 But surely given your links you could start bringing Soldam units over? Maybe even become a UK supplier?! Take it easy, James

Gah! I really hope it comes out soon. I need to hurry up and make a new system so I can play FS 2k4! I might end up getting the black version of the SB61G (or is it 62G?) I was thinking of ordering it from Soldam, but the cost just isn't worth it no matter how slick it is.

Isn't the fav the model that costs about 50% extra for the special paint finish? I hope Soldam make a non-fav version of it :\

Yeah, but the all aluminium case is what's so bloody gorgeous about the system!
The dilema that I am faced with is what LCD monitor mouse/keyboard combo to pair up with the best looking PC ever made?!
Take it easy, James

Whahey, it looks like you Yanks should be a happy bunch in a few weeks or so There's no mention of the price though...and this model is using the older FB51 motherboard; I believe Soldam will be updating the FAV to use an FB61 pretty soon. Take it easy, James

Check out the Acer AL732, aluminium bezel and solid aluminium base. Good response time, but if you do heavy publishing/graphics work, you may have issues with the number of colours is supposedly supports. But for BF1942, I cannot complain Oh, and don't forget the blue power button light that matches the one on the shuttle

I hope the prices aren't too outrageous on this...but if they do have FB61 based Polo R FAV then I'm placing an order immediately...haha. Heck, I'd probably even settle fo the FB51 model. :-p

All the Polo R series are made of all aluminumn. The FAV series have a hand done paint job with 2 hours of preparation, multiple coats etc. The finish is very nice, but not %50 of cost nicer . Take a look at the pics on the Soldam website and you will see what I mean

Yeah, I was doing some sums on this earlier today...it's crazy money...do I really need one?! Will I even get the time to play with it once I'm out there? etc.
I love the Soldam website though - no end of close-up pictures to look at - the alluminium shell, together with the precise 'line-up' of the entire case just oozes quality.
It's just a question of whether or not this 'quality' is work £650?
Take it easy, James

If you have to think about whether it's worth it, then it's not!
