hi,

just got my sb61g2 and I'm having an issue getting my cdrom recognized (to boot to it).

here's the setup:

wd raptor
twinx 2x512 corsair pc3200 (got that working - system was restarting itself)
tdk cd-rw (might be my prob there - but i don't have a normal cdrom drive lying around believe it or not!)
no floppy drive connected...

the wd is getting noticed (SATA enabled - enhanced- it's showing as the slave master?)

I've tried different combos but nothing seems to work - could it be the fact its a cdrw? Still I would think it would at least show up as one of the devices connected when I first boot...

Thanks!

nxt time please write what you did, would have been VERY useful to me right now.

im only able to boot on a cdrom if i totally remove the hdd, sounds to me like a bios upgrade (ignoring boot order) but then again, you made it sound like its somthing simple... please tell
