Axion Tech seems to have both models (6000 and 10000) available. I must say that I am disappointed in VIAs decision not to relase versions of the board based on the EPIA "Classic" series boards. Adding the MPEG 2 capabilites and higher power consumption of the M series seems like overkill for these boards. On top of that, there is a $40 price premium (over the EPIA M) for the additional ethernet port .onboard.

I looks as though I won't be buying these boards afterall.

I'd be very skeptical about anyone offering you a CL board at the moment...
Plus, if Axion Tech had the boards (detailled "infos" can be found here (CL10000) and here (CL6000)) then they'd know that boards not have a TV-out (which they promote in their describtion, but by looking at VIA's specifications you'll see that these boards don't have TV-out)!!!

BTW, expect some "real" EPIA CL news after the IFA in Berlin has ended on epiacenter.com...

I'd agree with TheEagleCD - the CL series sure aren't available yet. If they were, we'd have them!

I wouldn't exactly call The Register the most reliable source for anything.  They are fun to read and some info is good but you can't count on what they say to be true 100% of the time.

If it just apeared on the manufactures page or if they say it is just released that means it will be at least a few weeks before it is actually able to be bought by any consumers.  Well, the store may let you buy it but it won't actually ship to you because they don't have it.

Incredibly, the Cl doesn't come with any I/O brackets - so you can't utilise the extra USB & serial headers.

I'll be speaking to VIA about this!

The manual says a bracket is included, so thank you for looking into it.

I'm hoping to make use of most of the serial ports.
