I was thinking about getting a divx-player to complement my dvd-player and thought about getting a EpiaMe6000 + a Hollywood Xcard to do
the decoding. Any comments on this combination? Am I better off with a standalone divx-player (like the Yamada DVX-6000) even though I have to burn a cd everytime I want to watch a movie?

I have an epiam and can say that it barely ever drops frames, however i have yet to try one with ac3 on divx or xvid.  anyway i say go with mini-itx and a descent looking case.  it will work great.  you will be able to do other things with it, and most importantly if you wanna watch xvid or other stuff it will work with that too.
