so, i just got off the phone with tigerdirect....and guess what? without the original packaging, they don't do returns!
the people i work for hate to see boxes lying around...so i get back to work today and ...NO BOX!!!  of course, i didn't think this power issue was fatal!

so unless biostar will do it without the box, i'm screwed.  i'm sure the dali lama would have something calming to say about this whole experience.

oh well, you live and learn!
