I posted a few days ago or what not about my incredibly bad luck with iDeqs, having had one go bad and another act plain wierd (albeit with potential other causes). Now, the question is - should I go for a third or not? I only ask since Newegg says they have an ETA of today but they haven't arrived yet so, presumably, I'll end up buying tomorrow. With that said - SB62G2 or one last 200T?
To be honest, I feel inclined towards the 200T, but I want to see other thoughts.
Thanks in advance

Weird del with your ideq's. I've got 2 200v's, one at the ofc and one at the casa. Pretty much smooth sailing so far. 2500 and 2600, w2k and xp pro, 512ram on both, mxtr 80 pata, mxtr 80 sata, nvidia 5200 and matrox g550.
Was getting consistent hd temps over 50 c on both machines. Cut the exhaust grill out on both! and put in 60x25mm fans in. This brought my hd temps down about 10% and cpu temps down about 3 c. A little more noisy now, but not really a problem. the 25mm thick fans BARELY fit. subsequently, i put the stock 15mm thick fan back in at home. works about the same as with the 25mm fan. However, it does let more noise out with the stamped in grill cut out.
imo, the shuttle's have a better cooling system than the ideq's, although i've never seen one in action.
good luck

I think you should call Biostar for Tech support.

You know, I would if their number wasn't long distance and their email support willing to respond before four days after I sent the message...

I really am leaning towards a Shuttle since I'm at college and a new shipment of 200Ts at Newegg isn't due till 10/5 now...
I just need to verify that I can use my R9800 AIW. If the SB62G2 solved that issue, I might dive for that since I really don't want my components hanging around outside of something for any longer...

Why don't you just buy the IDEQ 200T from Googlegear.com or as they are now known as ZipZoomFly.com.
Free 2nd day shipping and in-stock.

I'm aware that both ZipZoomFly and Excaliberpc have them right now, but, frankly, the resellerratings.com ratings on ZZF's RMA policy are crap and Excaliber just doesn't take RMAs from Biostar products. So, presumably, if I am unlucky one more time, I could be screwed. That's why I'm willing to wait for Newegg... Well, Newegg got a new shipment in by 9 PM EST tonight, October 1st. So I grabbed one of those...let's pray that this one works... The original problem was here - http://forums.sudhian.com/messageview.cfm?catid=96&threadid=43205If anyone can help in any way, please, please do post!

I usually use googlegear (ZZF) as a backup to newegg. My main problem with ZZF is they have great prices and free shipping but take 2-4 days to process the order and ship. Newegg pretty much ships the same day or at least next day. Waiting sucks.

I haven't had any issues with ZipZoomFly either, they processed all my orders within 24 hours, have free 2nd day shipping and the return of my Shuttle SB61G2 to ZZF was easy and painless.
The only reason I stopped using NewEgg is they are charging Tax in CA and NJ. Before they started charging tax I would use them as my backup to ZZF.

Well, got my order in, going out later today so I'm happy. Sales tax is evil and since Newegg has a warehouse in CA and NJ :/

The new shuttle xpc's probably won't work with the 9800 AIW - check out this thread.
