Hi

I got a 3401 with a 2.4c and 512mb twinmos pc3200 ram. i've read these can overclock well.
i've had a go at ocing it but most i could get was 2.5 stable can anyone give me any pointers, maybe im changing the
wrong bios setting or summut.

Are you OCing the CPU, DDRAM, system or??? To see how far your CPU is going try the BIOS setting "DRAM Frequency" set to "400MHz" ("Advanced Chipset Features", "NorthBridge Configuration"). When you know your CPU:s max then you can try to OC your DDRAM... Also make sure you don't unlock the PCI/AGP during these tests. (Always try to start OC as few components as possible at the same time until you know the individual components limitations. Also I wouldn't recommend you to overclock unless you know what you are doing as this in general violates the "warranty".)
