I have just read a review of the  Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu heatsink at

xtremeTek.com

and it looks just what I am after. However, it mentions that it doesn't fit a lot of boards - the list of boards supported on the Zalman wesite doesn't mention the SL-B7A-F of the 3702

Has anyone installed one of these easily in a 3702?

Thanks

Phil

Can't install them on a 3702 - the 3702 motherboard does not have the mounting holes needed.

... what would people recommend instead?

I'm looking for a good, very quiet fan for a Athlon 2800+ Barton that isn't being overclocked...

Cheers

How about the Thermaltake Silent Boost?

It's a little overkill for non-overclocking.. but again so is the zalman you mentioned.

Look at the thermalright alx-800 and pair it with an 80mm panaflo L1A fan. I bought both from svc.com, and it was very reasonably priced. The performance and low noise signature are great.
