Folks,

I want to get hold of one of these Epia boards, I have a bunch of now unused componenets from my shuttle that need using up, and I need a server/kitchen media player.

Basically it needs enough grunt to play Divx (acceptably, nowt wrong with the very occasional dropped frame) and playback DVD's, does anyone have any reccomendations? I would like it to have decent S-Video out but not essential as will spend 95% of it's time on a monitor. Ooh a firewire port would be nice but is far from essential.

I will be using the following components with the system, do you forsee any problems(or extra equipment needs) with any of the following?
1 X WD 120GB HDD (regular desktop size)
1 X Plextor CDRW/DVD COMBO optical (regual desktop size)
1 X Original 200W Shuttle Power supply (as found in SS51Gv1)

Any help much much appreciated, there are just so many of the damn things that I am a little overwhelmed with reviews at the moment.

I realise that the system with all these full size components isn't exactly true to the cause ... if it's any consolation I will be building it into a bread box... and on that point does anyone have any points/suggestions/guides regarding the grounding of the above components and the EPIA board? going to be in a wooden box n all (I am cool with heat, already got that one figured out.

Thanks in advance.

Kind of Answered my own question in the end... Looks like I will go for either a epia M or MII.

Any input re: the grounding issue?
